Calgary and Banff
Winter break meant a week off classes and a week to explore more of Canada. We decided to road trip to Calgary and Banff and definitely ticked some things off of our bucket lists along the way. We rented a car and began the 7 hour drive to reach Calgary where we stayed for 3 days exploring the city.

After Spending a great weekend in Calgary we drove on to Banff. The hour drive up to the town of Banff was incredible - with beautiful snow-capped mountain scenery surrounding us. Immediately we fell in love with the town and its beautiful mountain skyline. The next 5 days were spent exploring the town and the surrounding areas of the national park.

Peyto Lake is a glacier-fed lake situated just over an hour out of the town of Banff and shaped like the head of a wolf. After a short hike up to Bow Summit, we were faced with an incredible view of the frozen lake and its surrounding valley and mountains.
It was an amazing week spent in the most beautiful place.
