Montréal, Québec

I spent 5 days in Montréal with two amazing friends that I met working at camp in America over the past two summers. Spending the week with these friends in such a beautiful city allowed me to reflect on the beauty of camp and reminded me how grateful I am that it brought these incredible women into my life.  Montréal is in the province of Québec and is recognised for its vibrance and culture.  Downtown Montréal Old Montréal   Notre-Dame Basilica. We attended the Aura light show at the Basilica which was a breathtaking experience. For the 30 minute show the interior of the 189 year old church was lit up in a beautiful light and sound experience. This is definitely a must see when visiting the city.   Mount Royal -  a natural landmark in Montréal that provides a beautiful view over the city. Montréal Food culture. Calgary and Banff

Winter break meant a week off classes and a week to explore more of Canada. We decided to road trip to Calgary and Banff and definitely ticked some things off of our bucket lists along the way. We rented a car and began the 7 hour drive to reach Calgary where we stayed for 3 days exploring the city. Calgary Tower Glow Festival - Downtown Calgary  After Spending a great weekend in Calgary we drove on to Banff. The hour drive up to the town of Banff was incredible - with beautiful snow-capped mountain scenery surrounding us. Immediately we fell in love with the town and its beautiful mountain skyline. The next 5 days were spent exploring the town and the surrounding areas of the national park.
